6 MAY 06 RSG show. Download show

On 6 MAY 06 at 1000 UTC, the Afrikaans station Radio Sonder Grense (radio without borders) in their "Naweekaktueel" programme featured an item about number stations. Although the station broadcasts in Afrikaans, my personal contribution unfortunately remained in it's usual Hull accented English.
Hendrik Martin presents the item.

Naweekaktueel
Die aktualiteitsprogram met n verskil. Dis n program vir die naweekmensdie soort mens wat in sy omgewing belangstel, wat wil wegbreek en die wiele laat rol of sommer net n bietjie anders na die lewe kyk.

From the South African Broadcasting Company website:

"RSG targets the modern, progressive Afrikaans-speaking community regardless of colour and race. It seeks to attract forward-thinking Afrikaans-speaking people between the ages of 25 and 49 years from the upper LSMs (7-10). The station has an average of 1.135 million listeners per day. RSG, as a PBS station, aims to inform and entertain. The content strategy is therefore to offer a full-spectrum (alles in een - sonder grense) Afrikaans radio station including news, current affairs, sport, lifestyle, education and music."
